You will first need a Google account.  If you already have one, then you have access to other Google apps, including Google Photos.

If You Do Not Have a Google Account

On a mobile device, download the Google Photos app and create an account

If You Have a Google Account but have not Used Google Photos

Once you’re signed in, simply follow the instructions presented to start uploading your photos and videos. This can take a while if you have a lot of images and videos, so maybe you just want to let it run for a while and then come back to organizing.  You can upload photos from your phone via the mobile app or from your computer using the desktop app.

Once You Have Photos in the "Google Photos" App

• Open the Google Photos app

• Tap on Library at screen bottom

• Tap on + New album box

• Add a title.  Tap Done

• Tap on + Select photos

• Tap corner of photos to add check marks for those you want to add.   Tap Add.

• You’ll return to the Album summary page where you can add more photos if you’d like by clicking the [+] photo icon

• NEW FEATURE: Click the 3 dots in top right and choose Options

• Turn on "Link sharing" button (slide to the right)

• Choose other options you prefer and then press Copy Link

You now have a share link for this new album that can be added to a collection in MyFamilyArchive.
