MyFamilyArchive uses Popups to link your collections to media stored in other cloud websites. When you first click on one of your new entries, it's is possible a warning message will tell you that your browser blocks popups (this is usually to prevent unwanted ads. MyFamilyArchive has no ads and there is no security risk). When this happens, look first to the FAQ answer under IMPORTANT COMPUTER SETTINGS.
If this doesn't work, follow the simple steps below:
On Chrome
- Click on the three vertical dots on the far right > choose Settings > select Advanced (very bottom of page) > Privacy and security > Content settings (2nd from bottom of section) > Pop-ups and redirects.
- On this screen, select Allow and Add https://collectionaire.com (you may copy and paste this.
- Exit settings by simply closing the tab

On Safari
- Make sure MyFamilyArchive.com is open in Safari
- Go to Safari (very top left next to the apple icon) > Preferences > Pop-up Windows (bottom of left column).
- Either unblock all websites (bottom right) or Configure Websites to: Allow collectionaire.com
- Close the windows

On Firefox
- Make sure MyFamilyArchive.com is open in Firefox
- Click on the "hamburger icon" (3 short horizontal lines =) in the top right corner of the Firefox page
- Select Options (Settings if on an iMac) > Privacy & Security (left column) > (Scroll down to) "Permissions". Then either uncheck Block pop-up windows OR add the exception: https://collectionaire.com (you may copy and paste this).
- Click Save Changes

- Under the "General" section, turn "Block Pop-ups" to off
